Multiplication of two numbers with 15 digits can be performed within a second, who made it possible? You can travel a distance of 1000 km in less than 1.5 hours, who made it possible? You can talk to your loved ones who are miles apart by just dialing a number, who made it possible? Satellites revolving around planet billions of km away, who made it possible? Even I’m uploading this article from my laptop while using smartphone and watching TV while clothes are getting washed in a washing machine, who made it all possible? You already know the answer, it’s so called advanced humans.

There is a question I always ask myself about what is intelligence? Does intelligence mean literacy or does it mean excellence? Or even if it means excellence, what’s the use of this excellence? We think scoring marks is intelligence, inventing something is genius, finding a result of decades old research a breakthrough but we often forget that all of this is useless until you make full use of this intelligence. We as most technically advance species on this planet has a potential to do anything be it in positive note or in negative. We have this responsibility on our heads to maintain a perfect balance between the components of the universe and nature. But again, even if we are intelligent, are we literates?

Money, the most important soul stone

Would Adolf Hitler ever be so powerful if people supported his ideologies or aggressive approach? No. Similar is the case with the biggest disease on this planet; money. Here, money means everything. You have it, you can have it all and if you don’t have it, better search another galaxy. Some have so much money that even if they try, they can’t spend entire money in their lifetime and there are some who don’t even have money to feed themselves. There is a spoiled brat whose biggest achievement is to pass 12th standard who can spend lakhs without even reflective roaming in his luxury car and at the exact moment there is someone who is welding in scorching heat in 50° C who would earn just enough to feed him. Is it equality? Is it luck? What is it? That’s what I call biggest robbery of humanity. We made money so much important that it started dominating us just like Mr Hitler and that is the reason crimes have increased, suicides have increased, value of life decreasing and the gap between rich and poor increasing. Does money have to be so much important? Its money because of which people are facing so many miseries. Some can’t afford treatments, some kill their dreams, some can’t even eat food even once a day. Some can’t afford to provide their children education and billion other examples or reasons.

Somewhere on the planet.

War time

We created bombs, explosives, guns etc for what? To kill another human? To widow a wife? To make children realize that their dad won’t ever come back to get them ice cream? To make their mother realize that his son has gone somewhere very far where no mobile network would ever catch him? Lakhs of soldiers die every year protecting their motherland but why are soldiers needed in the first place? Why do we need to fight and for what? There is a strong feeling about patriotism but have you ever thought this feeling of patriotism is a reason for wars? We don’t know how we came into existence but I’m pretty much convinced that this was not the objective of our existence. We could have lived in peace where there were no wars, no soldier dying, no money dominating us and could have made this planet a jollier place to live but what did we choose?

Greed Relation

Plants are good source of Oxygen, what did we do to them? Cut them so that we can start a factory to earn more. Great. Billions of marine species live inside a river, sea etc and what did we do to them? Discharged pollutants so they die and we earn billions? We snatch homes of countless animals just to build our own home. Is this intelligence? We betray our friends, partners and even our families for money just to fulfill our greed. Greed is not just limited to money, its more than that. Power, fame, authority also add to the long list of greed. Politics is second most sever disease on this plant if not the first. you would get no ears to listen if it was not for a political benefit.

Destroying someone’s house to build ours

Power and value of life

Yet another factor, the world runs behind is authority i.e. power. Have you ever seen a politician or a celebrity in vulnerable state? If no then how come? The answer is that they have power. There are hit and run cases which the entire country knows who has done it but is anyone behind the bars? We know most of the politicians are corrupted are doing anything just for their benefit but we can’t do anything. We didn’t even let a deceased person die in peace. The media for their profit didn’t even respected a dead person. Our laborers which are the backbone of our economy were left on roads to travel 1000s of kilometres to their home barefoot. I don’t even feel the need to say how the situation was for them. Would that be the situation of any celebrity who would have struck anywhere else? Why do we create a difference between an actor, a politician and a laborer? We value one profession but not the other. We can live without movies but we can’t live without these workers but still they aren’t provided any help just because they don’t have the power so there life doesn’t hold any value.

How we created equality

Humans are the smartest species that have ever existed but did we make a full use of it? Did we create an environment where there is equality or no poverty? Did we protect our nature? Did we care about our animals? Did we care about deforestation? Did we ever think of global warming? Did we ever seriously talk about greenhouse effect? Did we ever said no to injustice until it happens to us?

Global Warming
How we are helping other species

We can calculate billons in a second but have we thought about billions of species that have been affected by us? We can create millions of matrimonial websites or dating apps across the world, but have we thought how many widows and widowers have been created due to weapons and wars? We can present thousands of mobile games that can be played indoors but have we thought that these could never replace outdoor sports? We can debate about the comfort by travelling from a car but have we thought about how beautiful small walks can be? We can always be proud of a house we own but have you ever thought it was made from sweats of the laborers who have no value in this world? And if you don’t have any answers, aren’t humans the most intelligent illiterates?
